Botanical Medicine

Botanical Medicine

Botanical medicine comprises plants (or substances that come from plants) that are used to treat or prevent disease.

About Botanical Medicine

Naturopathic physicians are professionally trained physiological biochemists, using whole plants and nutraceuticals as medicinal agents to treat and prevent disease. Although allopathic pharmaceutical agents are also derived from plants, the components of the plants are typically isolated or synthetically produced causing harmful side-effects.

We use a variety of herbs in different preparations to treat people with acute (colds, flu, bronchitis, allergies) as well as chronic (hypertension, diabetes, arthritis) diseases.
